With a comfortable trap 6 start, punters expected Ibetx Dot Com to convert his usual wide run to a typical quick away at his favourite track. Amidst growing pressure from 3rd place Raithby Toure and 4th Chubbys Port, our dog lost the opportunity to bag the first. After Critical Time appropriately got away quickly, the best our dog could do was push for the second by 1 1/4 lengths, with Raithby Toure and Chubbys Port dogs always threatening. In the eighth second place of the year, trainer Tony Lucas can at least take solace in our Ibetx Dot Com's continuing speed and agility. It's hoped our dog will keep this competitive edge next time around. |
